Making Space for Joy.

Join the horses and humans at Liberty Lane Stables for an equine-assisted workshop to clear the clutter and make space for more joy in your life.

If you’re anything like me, you probably:

  • Love to be helpful.

  • You love to get involved.

  • You enjoy learning new things.

But you often forget in the excitement of the moment when you’re saying YES to one more activity on your already packed calendar that:

  • There are only so many hours in the day and

  • You are already feeling chronically overwhelmed.

You are over-committed. But how do you unravel yourself from the situation? It’s going to be tough, and you may need to disappoint some people, which you really don’t want to do. In fact, that’s probably part of the reason you got over-committed in the first place.

You know you need to let some things go — but where do you start?

You can’t do it all. But you can get clearer on what matters most and focus your energy there.

Your time is a limited resource — so, let’s make sure you’re putting your energy where your truly need and want to be. In this workshop you will:

  • Assess your satisfaction with all areas of your life — work, family, friends, health and leisure.

  • Identify your core values and non-negotiables.

  • Consider where you can let some things go, and leave with next steps to make actual changes in your life.

We often have more choices than we realize. And you really can create a life that is satisfying, manageable, fulfilling and fun.

Declutter your to-do list and rediscover your joy in this transformative equine assisted learning workshop.

  • Light snacks and water will be provided for our guests.

  • There is an indoor bathroom at the farm for your use.

WHY HORSES?

Horses are powerful teachers. They help us see ourselves more clearly and show us how we can be better humans.

  • Horses are highly perceptive and they are always honest.  As prey and herd animals, horses are acutely aware of our emotional,  mental  and energetic states. They naturally perceive this information and immediately reflect it back to us, helping us to see ourselves more clearly.

  • Horses are unbiased and non-judgmental. Horses see and accept us exactly as we are, without judgment or bias. They challenge us to step up in a non-threatening way.

  • Horses live in the present moment. Unlike humans, who are easily distracted by their own thoughts and emotions horses live in the moment and can be with us 100%. They are excellent listeners.

And yes, you CAN do this. All activities with the horses during this workshop will be practiced on the ground. No riding or horse experience is necessary to benefit from this transformative experience.
