Mindful Moments.
Finding peace in the present.
Life gets busy. Sometimes we barely have a spare moment to think.
In this workshop we’re gifting ourselves an afternoon of peaceful presence with some of the most mindful creatures on the planet — horses.
As herd and prey animals, horses just get it. They know that the present moment is indeed the perfect moment — for finding safety, peace and connection with themselves, their environment and each other.
The present moment is also our perfect moment. Let’s take some time for presence.
Why mindfulness matters:
It helps reduce stress and anxiety.
It improves our mental clarity and focus.
It enhances our ability to manage our emotions, creating space to respond instead of react — improving our relationships with ourselves and others.
It boosts our immune system and improves our overall health.
We sleep better! Mindfulness can help us relax and reduce racing thoughts, which also improve the quality of our sleep — and life!
Let’s make some time for ourselves in the present moment.

WHY HORSES?
Horses are powerful teachers. They help us see ourselves more clearly and show us how we can be better humans.
Horses are highly perceptive and they are always honest. As prey and herd animals, horses are acutely aware of our emotional, mental and energetic states. They naturally perceive this information and immediately reflect it back to us, helping us to see ourselves more clearly.
Horses are unbiased and non-judgmental. Horses see and accept us exactly as we are, without judgment or bias. They challenge us to step up in a non-threatening way.
Horses live in the present moment. Unlike humans, who are easily distracted by their own thoughts and emotions horses live in the moment and can be with us 100%. They are excellent listeners.
And yes, you CAN do this. All activities with the horses during this workshop will be practiced on the ground. No riding or horse experience is necessary to benefit from this transformative experience.
